The associate will support product
quality by ensuring conformance of product to applicable in-process and final
release specifications. Additionally,
the associate will support tech transfer, equipment monitoring and calibration
activities and participate in troubleshooting and/or assay optimization as
necessary. The successful candidate will
be able to perform a variety of laboratory analyses and thoroughly document all
activities according to relevant SOPs.
Life science degree or equivalent
· 2+ years in a lab analyst position. Microbiology
or immunology experience preferred.
· Experience with the following assays and
techniques a plus: ELISA, BCA, LAL (endotoxin detection), PAGE, buffer/reagent
preparation, cell growth and maintenance in tissue culture, Immunodiffusion,
and general microbiological testing. Also environmental monitoring, water quality testing and equipment
· Experience with general Quality Programs such as
Incoming Quality Control, Change Management, Customer Complaints, Environmental
Monitoring, Calibration, Deviations, Out of Specifications, Internal Auditing,
Document Control and Corrective Actions a plus.
· Experience in a USDA or FDA regulated
environment a plus.
