Lyman Morse Fabrication is looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Technician. This new position will develop and maintain established quality standards by examining incoming materials, in-process production, finished products. Excellent communication skills are a must as well as a keen attention to detail. Required experience: High School diploma; knowledge of AWS structural welding code and ability to read and interpret drawings and welding symbols, solid computer skills including MS Excel and knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures as well as ability to use various measurement tools; mathematical skills, including trigonometry and Pi calculations for layout purposes. Knowledge of SolidWorks, Rhino and AutoCAD a plus. Work with NDT (MT, UT, VT, PT) advantageous. Must be able to work in hot/cold environments with appropriate PPE and in and around machinery safely.
