About ImmuCell Corporation: ImmuCell Corporation is a growing animal health company that develops, manufactures and markets scientifically-proven products that improve health and productivity in the dairy and beef industries. The Company develops, manufactures and markets the First Defense® product line that provides “immediate immunity” against aggressive pathogens, including E. coli, coronavirus, and rotavirus in newborn dairy and beef calves without the use of traditional antibiotics. ImmuCell holds a unique position, they are the only animal health company with the ability to concentrate, purify, and quantify specific colostrum antibodies (E. coli, coronavirus, and rotavirus) on a commercial scale. This reduces the amount of antibiotics in the human food chain and it maximizes the productive capabilities of dairy and beef producers future operating assets – their newborn calves.
The Company is in the late stages of developing a novel purified Nisin intramammary treatment that addresses subclinical mastitis in fully grown milking cows. Mastitis is the most significant cause of economic loss to the dairy industry totaling approximately $2 BILLION annually. Our product will treat infections in milk producing cows without the use of traditional antibiotics, and reduces the amount of antibiotics in the milk supply.
