This position handles moderate to higher complexity claims involving homeowner lines of insurance written by the Interinsurance Exchange in compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. The primary functions include writing or adjusting home repair estimates. In addition, the candidate will respond to and resolve insured inquiries regarding their claims. Employs discretion and independent judgment to ensure compliance with state and federal law, and with established company technical and customer service best practices.
Four year college degree or commensurate job experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and knowledge of Xactimate estimating system. Strong organizational skills and oral/written communication skills. Must be able to secure state specific licenses as required. Ability to service claims of moderate and higher complexity as normally acquired through three to seven years of experience.
